Days 1-4


Day 1: Poreč: The Euphrasian Basilica

Your journey begins in Poreč, where you explore the remarkable Euphrasian Basilica, a 6th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning mosaics and well-preserved Byzantine architecture.

After a pleasant walk through Poreč’s Roman streets and along the waterfront, you settle in for the night.

Day 2: Plitvice Lakes: A Natural Masterpiece

You continue toward the heart of Croatia and spend the day discovering Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Croatia’s oldest National Park. Stroll along on a guided walk along wooden boardwalks over 16 cascading lakes connected by waterfalls.

Ride across the largest lake Kozjak, on the panoramic boat, towards the biggest waterfall in Croatia, Big Waterfall. You stay overnight in the Plitvice region.

Day 3: Zadar: Ancient Heritage & Modern Art

The route continues to Zadar, a city where Roman ruins and medieval fortifications blend with contemporary public art. You visit the Roman Forum, St. Donatus Church, and the impressive Venetian defensive walls, and end your day listening to the Sea Organ and watching the Greeting to the Sun installation before spending the night in Zadar.

Day 4: Šibenik: Cathedral Stop → Arrival in Split

On your way to Split, take a short detour to Šibenik, where you can admire the UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral, a stunning masterpiece constructed entirely of stone. Spend some time exploring the charming old town with its narrow streets and lively atmosphere.

After your visit, continue your journey to Split, where you’ll spend the night, ready to discover more of Croatia’s rich history.

DESTINATION HIGHLIGHTS

Poreč – Poreč is a charming coastal town on the Istrian peninsula, known for its crystal-clear Adriatic waters, lively old town, and rich 2,000-year history. At its heart stands the UNESCO-listed Euphrasian Basilica, one of the most beautiful early Christian monuments in Europe.

Šibenik – The city’s crown jewel is the UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture built entirely of stone. Overlooking the town are impressive fortresses like St. Michael and Barone, offering panoramic views of the sea and nearby islands.

Dubrovnik – the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” encircled by ancient stone walls, the city’s red-roofed streets, historic forts, and crystal-clear sea views create an unforgettable atmosphere. Explore charming squares, scenic viewpoints, and the unique spirit of this Adriatic treasure.

Days: 5-8


Day 5 – Split: Inside Diocletian’s Palace

In Split, you have the opportunity to explore the historic core of the city, which is entirely built within Diocletian’s Palace. As you walk through ancient passages, courtyards, and temples, you will visit notable landmarks such as the Peristyle, the Cathedral of St. Domnius, and Jupiter’s Temple. Afterwards, you will have the rest of the day free to fully enjoy the Mediterranean charm that Split has to offer.

Day 6 – Hvar: Island Heritage & Ancient Plains

You continue your cultural journey with a day trip to Hvar Island. After exploring Hvar Town, the Spanish Fortress, and the historic squares, you may visit the Stari Grad Plain, a UNESCO-protected agricultural landscape dating back to ancient Greek times. You return to Split in the evening.

Day 7 – Trogir: Romanesque-Gothic Jewel

Trogir is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. First, you can take a leisurely stroll through its UNESCO-protected old town, where you’ll find stunning architecture and rich history. Next, make sure to visit the impressive Cathedral of St. Lawrence, which is a highlight of the town.

Finally, continue your journey by heading to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik.

Day 8 – Dubrovnik: The Pearl of the Adriatic

Your final day leads you to Dubrovnik, where you explore its UNESCO-listed Old City. Walking the iconic medieval walls, visiting Renaissance palaces, and strolling along Stradun offer an unforgettable conclusion to your heritage journey. Evening at leisure to enjoy local restaurants or sunset views.

Sea Organ and Greetings to the Sun – Zadar’s waterfront features two must-see attractions: the Sea Organ, which turns the movement of the waves into calming melodies, and the Greeting to the Sun, a solar installation that glows in colorful patterns after sunset.
